This post is part of the Biossance Brand Takeover in June 2021, if you’d like to know more about the brand you can click here or view all posts about the brand here.

The Biossance Squalane + Omega Repair Cream is one of the best face creams for a dry skin I have ever come across. The ingredients list reads like a checklist of every proven moisturising ingredient, from ceramides to jojoba esters and shea butter, this cream is serious about keeping skin healthy.

I totally understand why they call it a repair cream after using it because it does feel SO soothing and deeply moisturising- it would be perfect after a professional facial treatment like a clinical strength peel. It’s all about lipid (good fats) restoring and supporting the function of a healthy skin barrier.

The cream is a familiar and classic creamy texture which does surprisingly sink in nicely and doesn’t interrupt make up, however it does leave behind a layer of comforting moisture you can feel on your skin throughout the day which I know anyone with dryer skin will find a huge relief.

Realistically, is this going to be the Biossance moisturiser I reach for the most? Probably not, being that I prefer to opt for their probiotic gel moisturiser on my combination skin, but I’m glad that I have them both so I can tailor to my skins need’s depending on the day or the season, and had it not been for testing the brand in detail for this takeover, I doubt I ever would have picked it up, I love when I stumble across a solid recommendation through product testing.

Also, whilst I got to grips with the range, I discovered that I really like this cream as a deeply hydrating face mask, applied after cleansing onto my face in a thick layer for ten minutes and then wiped away with a flannel before the rest of my skincare routine. You’re welcome in advance.

Biossance is cruelty free (like all skincare sold in the UK). The brand is available at Selfridges stores and online, Cult Beauty, Sephora and Biossance.com.
