Jordan Samuel Skin Matinee Gel Cleanser is criminally underrated. Among a sea of basic face washes, this out performs most.
The non stripping, sulphate free cleanser is in a gentle yet effective, cooling base of aloe vera and glycerin with added skin soothing cucumber and chamomile extract. It’s also infused with a touch of salicylic acid, helping to keep congestion at bay.
Despite the inclusion of the BHA, this is not a salicylic acid cleanser- it’s a cleanser with salicylic acid which is especially brilliant because if we’re using actives in every step of our routine the last thing we’d want is to overdo it. I love using it in the shower, whether as a second or AM cleanse.
How to use:
Apply the cleanser to damp skin and begin massaging your face, then add water to work up a slight lather and remove by rinsing or using a flannel.
INCI: Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Glycerin, Polyglyceryl-10 Laurate, Propanediol, Coconut Alkanes, Carbomer, Coco-Betaine, Water/Aqua/Eau, Decyl Glucoside, Phenoxyethanol, Salicylic Acid, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract, Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Fruit Extract, Sodium Hydroxide, Coco-Caprylate/Caprate
The cleanser is fragrance free and despite being non foaming it works nicely into a soft lather when mixed with water. The other positive? A little goes a long way and so a bottle will last for ages!
Jordan Samuel Skin is cruelty free (like all skincare sold in the UK) and leaping bunny approved. The brand is available in the US and Canada at JordanSamuelSkin.com and in the UK and globally at Cult Beauty here.
