If you want to know more about the Makeup by Mario range- read the collection overview.

Makeup By Mario ‘Master Metals’ is an intensely pigmented 5 pan metallic eyeshadow palette. The shades are inspired by the earths natural metals (and rose gold, obvs.) Designed to be used wet with a mixing medium, these metals are all about experimenting with makeup. There is a silver with a blue/green undertone, bright gold, warm orange copper, burnished bronze and cool rose gold.

This formula is INCREDIBLE and so intense it’s like using a shimmer eyeshadow on steroids! I could have swatched this over and over again- especially that gold!

This product continues to fuse together elements of artistry to be consumer friendly as it also has a removable mixing tray- genius! It contains all the mess in one area and is easily cleaned and packed away. I do wish the spatula came with the palette instead of the mixing medium, I’d assume most people buying will likely already have a mixing medium they like but not a perfectly sized spatula.

How do I use it?

You can use these shades wet or dry. When used dry they are a super pigmented shimmer eyeshadow, but they are best used when mixed with a mixing medium as intended- it instantly intensifies the molten effect making them look like liquid metal and turns them into a waterproof formula. Ready to be used in any way you would like- I love these as liner!

Scrape a small amount of the product directly into the tray, add a drop of mixing liquid and customise each element until you are happy with the texture- remember you can mix shades too- This is the most fun part of the range so far!

Whilst you could use a setting spray or MAC fix+ it won’t provide the same intensity, but will still look like metal.

I’ve linked the mini masterclass Mario uploaded below too, in case you want to see the palette in action or if you want to know more about the collection you can read this collection overview!
