Welcome to RohitBagga.com! This is the third installment in my Brand Takeover Series, where I delve deeper into some of your most requested and favourite brands in the beauty industry. As well as reading my thoughts and opinions on the brands, these takeover posts will be filled with information to help you make a more informed choice before you go on to discover their products (and every single product here has been tested by me!)  I hope I’ll help you to navigate your way through these brands a little easier, because with countless new products from every corner of the industry popping up daily, it’s hard to keep up and to know if you even need to…

Squish Beauty first came onto my radar when I saw them in the Liberty beauty hall- the cute cherry undereye masks were hard to ignore! Founded by London based model Charli Howard and NYC based photographer Ben Ritter in 2019, Squish has a clear mission. Beauty should be fun, not confusing.

The brand stems from a key philosophy that hydration is fundamental for healthy and happy skin, even-though it is often widely dismissed and discouraged. Those of us who have struggled with blemish prone skin will be able to understand this all too well- ultimately, drying out the skin can lead to a whole host of issues from hyper-pigmentation to a compromised skin barrier and NO ONE has time for that!

Squish launched with 3 products at first, all of which were designed to fight dehydration. A cherry shaped under mask, clear lip gloss and blemish stickers. They have since released what I would say is my personal favourite product, Smoosh moisturiser.

Since it’s conception, Squish has also celebrated diversity and championed inclusion, with a strict no photoshop policy in place too. I think this a brilliant move in contributing to what will hopefully become ‘the new normal’ in the Beauty industry. This is also very much aligned with Charli’s body positive-turned neutral philosophy. Body Neutrality places less importance on your bodies physical appearance, and more on how physical appearance does not dictate your value or attractiveness.

Squish Beauty is Vegan and Cruelty Free. You can find their products at SquishBeauty.com and exclusively at Liberty.

I’d love to hear your thoughts on Squish over on Instagram and if you’d like to discover the brand in more detail you can check out the takeover here.
