Retinol can get super confusing. Luckily The Inkey List only make one, so it’s pretty easy to know whether it’s a product you need or not.
Generally my advice is when using Retinol, try to make it the only ‘active’ in your routine. Apply onto dry, cleansed skin in the evening and follow up with a moisturiser if required. Do not combine your actives (acids, vitamin c) unless the formula has done this for you already.
Start by using twice a week and work your way up if needed, to your comfortability.
To continue seeing the results from using Retinol, use SPF every day to protect your skin.

The Inkey List’s Retinol uses a combination of 1% Retinol 0.5% Granactive Retinoid (Hydroxypinacolone Retinoate) which is a time released formula. This makes it a gentle yet effective formula for all skin types. With regular use, this will increase cell renewal, reducing wrinkles, breakouts and a smoother complexion.
If you’re concerned about wrinkles or blemishes and nothing else is providing your desired results- try this Retinol.
The Inkey List is Cruelty Free and available at Selfridges, Cult Beauty, Boots, Sephora US and Shoppers Drug Mart Canada, in addition to their own website where you can AskINKEY for specific product related support.
