The Inkey List Wash Off Treatments

When is comes to wash off skin treatments I only tend to bother with two types. A clay mask or a exfoliant. Luckily, The Inkey List does both!
APPLE CIDER VINEGAR PEEL
INCI: Aqua (Water/Eau), Glycolic Acid, Glycerin, Caprylyl/Capryl Glucoside, Polysorbate 20, Vaccinium Myrtillus (Bilberry) Fruit Extract, Acetum (Apple Vinegar/Vinaigre), Sodium Hydroxide, Propanediol, Xanthan Gum, Saccharum Officinarum (Sugar Cane) Extract, Lactobacillus/Vaccinium Macrocarpon Fruit Ferment Filtrate, Phenoxyethanol, Hippophae Rhamnoides (Seabuckthorn) Fruit Oil, Salix Alba (Willow) Bark Extract, Maltodextrin, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Fruit Extract, Citrus Limon (Lemon) Fruit Extract, Citronellyl Methylcrotonate, Acer Saccharum (Sugar Maple) Extract, Ethylhexylglycerin, Leuconostoc/Radish Root Ferment Filtrate, Biosaccharide Gum-1, Phytic Acid, Agastache Mexicana Flower/Leaf/Stem Extract.
I’m not a fan of apple cider vinegar in at home treatments or playing chemist in the kitchen when there are brilliant skincare products made by experts available every price point now.
Unfortunately this meant I didn’t take any notice of this peel from The Inkey List but boy was I wrong. I often find that this is where single ingredient product names can sometimes turn me off. This peel is much more than Apple Cider Vinegar.
It uses 2% ACV, 10% Glycolic Acid and a 5% fruit acid blend to resurface the skin.
I first started using the gel peel around September 2020 and was so annoyed I had gone this long without it! Within 10 minutes this peel brightened and smoothed the surface of my skin. Not once did my skin feel tight, dry or uncomfortable.
If you prefer using leave on treatments you might like to look into the brands serum range or exfoliating toners.
KAOLIN FACE MASK
INCI: Aqua, Kaolin, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Glycerin, Glyceryl Stearate, Carthamus Tinctorius Seed Oil, Stearic Acid, Helianthus Annuus Seed Oil, Cetearyl Alcohol, Magnesium Aluminium Silicate, Sodium Stearate, Sodium Magnesium Silicate, 2-Phenoxyethanol, Dimenthyl Sulfone, Centella Asiatica Extract,Glyceryl Caprylate, Decyl Glucoside, Cellulose Gum, Cocos Nucifera Oil, Cetyl Alcohol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Sodium Carbomer, Tocopherol, Macrocystis Pyrifera (Kelp) Extract, Sea Water Extract, Chondrus Crispus Extract, Vitis Vinifera seed oil, Lonicera Caprifolium Flower Extract,Sodium Hydroxide, Lonicera Japonica Leaf Extract, Tocopheryl Acetate, Panthenol, Oryza Sativa Bran Oil, Geranium Maculatum Extract, Taraxacum Officinale Extract, Equisetum Arvense Extract, Spirulina Maxima Extract, Prunus Armeniaca Kernel Oil
This is basic in the best way, It’s a clay mask. No bells and whistles but it unclogs pores, absorbs oil and keeps skin smooth.
It really is that easy. I like to use a chemical exfoliant beforehand to help shift blackheads too.
